ummm....not to take anything away from shaolin, but queens also has nas....the bronx has KRS-One....brooklyn (don't get me started) has, Gza, ODB, BDK, Talib etc,....harlem has Big L....basically what i'm saying is do the knowledge first, and then make your comment
